Glitter & Glamour Gandelman Jewelers recently renewed their store in Punda and we organized the opening reception. As always, we tried giving the event a special twist. We served carpaccio with edible gold, mini-quiche in a small jewel box and smoked salmon wraps presented amongst fake diamonds. The site was beautifully illuminated by Event Dimensions, who also built a huge gift box from which 200 silver and golden balloons escaped during the opening ceremony. (pictures of this event by Prince Imaging) Beaujolais 2008 The annual Ernst & Young Beaujolais Party is well-known on the island. Once again we had the honour of catering this event. This year the theme was: “Let’s go for the Gold!”. The sportive event was held in the SDK stadium where we built our own EY Olympic Village with a sportsbar, television screens and a live reporter. Guests were greeted by sporty hostesses and enjoyed the Beaujolais while picking up the necessary carbs at the different foodstations. Let’s go Asia! In January and February we are going to Asia to explore the culinary delights of Thailand, Vietnam and Japan. We trust to come back with lots of inspiration for the coming year!
