Holland with a Twist We had the pleasure of organising a Dutch inspired theme party for 300 people for the MCB Bank. We served red, white and blue cocktails, bitterballen in a wooden shoe, cheese & pickle lollypops, shots of homemade pea soup with mint and mini-bags with fries & mayo. We decorated the party scene with huge tulips, a wooden bridge and views of the red-light district. The ‘Boerenblaaskapel’, the Amsterdam’s Smartlappenkoor and actors from ‘Speels’ set the Dutch scene on stage. Space Cake We planned a farewell party inspired by the Betty Ford clinic, a place where the rich and famous go to fight their addictions. Celebrity guests were welcomed by Thelma & Louise nurses with a cocktail “shot”. We served “magic” mushrooms filled with goat cheese and thyme, “joints” with fresh herbs, crab “space” cakes and “cold turkey” sandwiches. Everyone got “high” on an evening of good food & music!
