Eso!
In
February the island was bustling with the annual Carnival celebrations.
One of the parties we organized that month was the ANT Jump-in. The
theme was BrilliANT: at the entrance guests were welcomed with colorful
sparkling hats, glasses and whistles. The location was decorated with
silver curtains, large illuminated glitter pillars and an artificial
canon fired off sparkles while the guests were dancing on the tumba
tunes of Guess. It was a brilliant event!
Baby Shower
Usually,
baby showers are all-girl affairs known for afternoon tea, games and
gifts. In April we catered a baby shower with a twist, including cocktails
and men! In cooperation with the mama-to-be we chose for a pistachio
green and peach color palette instead of the traditional baby pink.
We decorated the house and garden with hip flower arrangements and candles.
Even the menu was adapted to the color scheme: we served elegant fingerfood
like gravadlax wrapped in fresh pitabread, green asparagus soup with
salmon roe and homemade cantaloupe and pistachio ice cream.
